Hmm interesting, I had wondered what editors do with rejected submissions, how they keep track of manuscripts without actually holding on to them. If they didn’t keep track of them somehow, an author could just submit the same manuscript over and over again, hoping to get a different editor each time and catch that editor in a good mood.
Good point. I hadn’t thought of that before.
